(Literally and Metaphorically)

Some journeys don’t begin with a decision. They begin with alignment.
Our cabi story didn’t start on a runway or at Fashion Week. It began quietly in 2023, when our client Heidi Furlong invited us into her world—not to style her wardrobe, but to help her deepen her relationship with her business.
What Yvette and I didn’t realize then was that this moment would mark the beginning of a chapter for us as well—one that would fully unfold by the end of 2025.
As self-mastery coaches, our work is never surface-level. We don’t just look at what’s working—we look at what’s underneath. With every client, we start with the foundations: self, time, money, identity, and purpose. From there, everything ripples—business, partnerships, parenting, seasons of life.
With Heidi, that ripple effect was powerful.
Although we were already familiar with cabi behind the scenes—having participated in her shows, supported pop-ups, team builds, and proudly being some of her original Wear & Share clients—our relationship with the brand was still secondary to the deeper work we were doing together.
In 2023, Heidi began styling us for major YGC speaking engagements and travel. At YGC, we believe in the collective growth of our clients, so the collaboration felt natural. She would style us, we would share her QR code, and women—everywhere we went—would ask what we were wearing.
It was the best of both worlds. We looked good.We felt good. And women felt connected.
As we evolved, so did our brand.
By late fall of 2025, YGC officially joined Wear & Share as digital stylists and influencers. It allowed us to create capsules in our sizes that aligned with our lifestyle, our work, and our community. After six years of building women-centered spaces, this next step simply made sense.
Then came January 2026.
Spring Fashion Week. Phoenix. “Life Looks Good.”
We had been behind the scenes before—but what we experienced this year exceeded anything we imagined.
To understand why this moment mattered so deeply, you need a little context.
Before YGC was full-time coaching and community building, Yvette spent years in the event industry—where we first met in 2018. Between the two of us, we bring 20+ years of corporate and event experience. I also spent 17 years in retail, including 13 years in fashion with Victoria’s Secret—from store openings to fashion weeks and leadership roles.
So when I say we noticed the details—I mean we felt them.
Coming back to cabi Spring 2026 Fashion Week, we witnessed something extraordinary: A brand deeply committed to the growth, longevity, and future of its stylists and its home office team.
The attention to detail. The intentional delivery of the message. The heart behind CEO Katie Malone’s vision.
It didn’t just inspire us—it reassured us.
It reaffirmed that YGC, as a brand, can confidently help lead a new generation of women into cabi’s future, while also supporting the OG women who are navigating beautifully complex seasons of change.
We were in awe of how much voice stylists truly have. Every corporate initiative was thoughtfully paired with stylists who are actively shaping what’s next.
That alignment?
That’s rare.
And it’s powerful.
This is only the beginning of our YGC x cabi blog series.
In the coming weeks, we’ll share how “Life Looks Good” is being woven into the daily life of YG Collaborations—and into the lives of the women we serve.
And before we close this chapter, we want to say this:
Heidi—we have watched your growth with so much pride. Thank you for trusting us, for allowing us to walk alongside you, and for being a lighthouse for so many women. This is just the beginning.
With so much love,
Geovanna Burgess-White
for YG Collaborations
